Hello there! I whipped together a half-decent YouTube video I figured I'd ask you to watch it 🤣
So what the heck is this video about??
Well, since ads are expensive as hell (still 80% of marketing for me and you can learn more here)
I sat with the team to review our traffic google dashboard and ‘dig' ⛏️ some cheaper ways to get people to the site (hello there free organic promo).
And boy we found some great ideas! 💰
10 Ways To Get More Website Visitors
and how I’m planning to use them to make more sales in 2023
#1 – Marketplaces
I actually figured it out the wrong way. A few years ago I had an Etsy shop (long story for another day)…I never closed it or updated but people kept getting into my list through a styling downloadable listed there.
Not exactly the people I want but what I’m doing now is creating a few $3-$10 downloadables and adding to Etsy, Creative Market, and Amazon to drive traffic to my site and offers.
Even if they don’t sell much, I’m still going to be showing up on searches and more people will find me.
#2 – Podcast Interviews
The 3rd most significant organic traffic source was podcast interviews. The interesting thing is that I only have been in 2 or 3 podcasts the year before 😳
More please!
#3 – Commenting
This is super weird, but I noticed that people were joining my newsletter (the 2hr-workday) while I was actively commenting and engaging with other accounts on social media to promote my expert content.
btw, I have a whole new mini-course about promoting content coming out soon!.
No hard data on it, but people see your comment and check you out. Don't forget to keep your profile links up to date!
👉🏻 There are 7 more waiting for you in this super short (7min) video. (Don't forget to like and comment if you like it)
Any other UNUSUAL ways you get people into your world?
Please comment below the video so we can crowdsource some new ideas!
2024 is the year to get ‘weird’ and I’m here for it,
Roberta
